EPAN
Ethiopian Professionals Association Network (EPAN) is
a unique nonprofit and nonpolitical organization founded in Kansas City
Missouri by Ethiopian Engineering Students and company recruits who attended
the National Society of Black Engineers 25th annual convention. The idea of
creating EPAN was originally discussed at the "Blue Nile Café" in
Kansas City, MO. within a small group on March 25th, 1999 which the next day
drew a lot of support at "Martha Café" in Kansas. At the get
together it was noticed that the lack of communication and information
sharing among Ethiopians was something most of Ethiopians have always found
lacking. It was concluded that Ethiopians need to work a little harder at
coming together and sharing information to pull each other. There fore
Ethiopian Professionals Association Network was born.
Mission
The mission of EPAN is to provide our fellow
Ethiopians with information so they achieve competitive advantage in the
professional world.
Principle
Providing the needs of our fellow Ethiopians
consistent with the information we know is EPAN's key principles. We seek to
understand our fellow Ethiopians needs and respond to them in a teamwork

on:- Work on the right things to maximize our fellow Ethiopians in the
professional world- Meet our commitment to satisfy everyone's goals and
